Brian Beaton: Social Facets of Data Science Workshop at Cal Poly November 10-11

Dr. Brian Beaton is co-organizing the “Social Facets of Data Science” workshop on November 10-11, 2016. The workshop, supported by an award from the National Science Foundation's STS Program, will be held on the Cal Poly campus at the Robert E. Kennedy Library. The event will focus on the everyday work of data scientists and on ethical dilemmas facing the profession. Free and open to students faculty, staff, and the public.
